Biography


Hailed by the Ibiza Wunderground as “the face to watch in 2023”, New Zealand-born, London/Brighton-based QVEENS (Alexia QVEENS), continues to cement herself as one of the defining global bass music acts of our time.

Coming from Vancouver, Canada QVEENS made a name for herself working for both MTV and Vancouver Television as a Music Journalist. Now a fixture on the UK scene joining the ranks of some of London’s most renowned DJ’s QVEENS recently launched The QVEENS Drum & Bass Show on Select Radio, one of the top radio stations in the UK.

Her stellar rise over the last two years in the Dubstep/140 and Drum & Bass scenes includes securing the Number 1 spot on the Mixcloud charts with her Ministry of Sound live show performance in the Dubstep, Riddim and Bassline charts making her a triple Number 1 spot holder.

In 2022 QVEENS toured Ibiza playing 13 shows in 10 days and in Summer 2023 toured Europe playing 41 shows in 28 days including being invited to be a celebrity headliner on P&O’s Arvia Ship for their first ever onboard EDM shows. QVEENS has secured herself as a regular at the world famous Ministry Of Sound, as well as main floor gigs at EGG London, Brighton’s iconic member’s only club Soho House and is a regular with the much revered SYNLDN collective.

Prior to the world closing, Alexia toured with AKON for his Canadian Tour, and has also opened for Sisqo, 112, Sigma and Kayzo, Chase & Status, Sullivan King, Luude, Hamdi and Benny Banassi as well as headlining Vancouver Pride Festival to over 100,000 people.

In Nov 2023 QVEENS launches her brand The Coven with events in Brighton and London.

In late 2023 / early 2024 QVEENS takes her Bass Odyssey brand down-under to New Zealand for several festival and club dates for the Summer. In early 2024 QVEENS plans to release her debut Drum & Bass EP and her The Coven bass music record label.
